As a bilingual instructional designer fluent in Cantonese and English, I have always loved instruction in some form. Growing up in Florida, I wanted to become a dog trainer due to my passion for animals. Things did not go according to plan which led me to become a science instructor instead.

I've often been tasked with delivering ILT for my co-workers whenever new software is implemented. As someone who was new to Science, I had to become my own SME very quickly and adapt to the changing modalities of delivering instruction. It didn't take long to realize that I enjoyed the design and development process of creating interactive and engaging learning experiences using the ADDIE model. These opportunities led me to pursue a career in eLearning Development and Instructional Design. I am constantly seeking opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning which is a lifelong pursuit of mine.

 
When I am not working on ID I enjoy spending time with my son, exploring new places to eat, and planning new places to visit. My favorite destination that I have visited so far is Greece and have plans to visit again in the future. Thank you for reading!
